Blake Block Commercial Tenants In Place

Bruce Blake has announced tenant commitments for the entire commercial level of the Blake Block.
Appearing on the current edition of Bedford Common, Blake said that Ginger – the Japanese restaurant – and Bedford Rug will return. New tenants include Bedford-owned Wicked Good Frozen Yogurt shop; a New York deli; and KoKo FitClub, a franchised fitness center, slated to occupy two spaces.
The “For Lease” sign will remain until the construction fence comes down; Blake noted the sign generates an ongoing stream of inquiries.
None of the six spaces is built out yet and there is no timetable for when the businesses will open, but a building occupancy permit is expected soon.
