There’s a lot going on for kids during July at the Bedford Library; the activities are sponsored (unless otherwise noted) by the Friends of the Bedford Free Public Library.

Dig Into Reading and Join the Summer Reading Club

Sign up in the Children’s Room and get your Bingo card. Check out some great books and record each one on your Bingo card. Each time you complete a Bingo row, bring your card into the Children’s room and receive a Bingo Bucks Coupon.  Use your Bingo Buck for one free book from the Friends of the Library Children’s Book Nook. When you complete five Bingo rows you will receive a special certificate!

Keep reading because the program runs through August 28. If you complete the entire BINGO card, you can enter the raffle for a special book prize.

Dig into Reading is sponsored by the Bedford Free Public Library, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Story time on the library lawn

Look for the giant parachute on the library lawn (next to the High School) where Children’s Librarians Nancy Tegeler and Carol Bender will share stories, songs, finger plays, and parachute dancing.  Dig into summer reading and fun.  We have all the ingredients—just bring your imagination! Please join us in the meeting room if it’s raining.
