Renovations are underway at 24 South Road near the corner of Maple Street, the new home of Perch on Bedford Common.
Perch on Bedford Common will be associated with the Herbal Academy of New England (HANE), an educational resource center offering online programs, local workshops, and weight loss counseling. The organization began a couple of years ago in Woburn, and is now moving its events online (click to read about HANE’s fall online course) and to the South Road location.
Set to open later this year, HANE’s Marketing and Communications Director Amber Meyers said, “We are beyond thrilled to introduce Perch on Bedford Common to the area. While Perch will hold some HANE events, it will be primarily a retail and wellness center.”
Meyers continued, “Community members are invited to drop in to chat and visit with us; to peruse the herbal room; and to shop for hand-selected, homegrown, and handmade artisan foods as well as goods to create a beautiful home and lifestyle.
“The space is still under renovation and we have a ways to go before we officially open the doors sometime this fall,” she concluded.
