A Thank You from John Dodge and His Family

Last week’s community celebration on the occasion of John Dodge’s 90th birthday, prompted this thank you from Margaret Donovan on behalf of John and his family

John Dodge wants to thank everyone for the outpouring of affection at his 90^th birthday celebration last Friday night at the Old Town Hall.

He was deeply honored by the tributes from State Senator Mike Barrett, Selectmen Bill Moonan and Mike Rosenberg, and his wonderful pastor John Gibbons. [Click here to read the tributes.] And he was especially touched by the presence of the many friends who helped to make it such a happy occasion.

The Dodge and Donovan families are very grateful for the efforts of so many — especially the logistical support of Bobbie Ennis and Julie Turner, the spectacular catering of Maryalyce Henning, the music of “Off Our Rockers” band leader and DJ Steve Henning, the A/V contribution of Bedford TV’s Madeleine Altman and Greg Dolan, and the hospitality of the Director of Town Center Fay Russo.

It was truly the thrill of a lifetime for a very dear man.
