The Boston Children’s Choir sang at Museum Wharf on Friday night to celebrate the Boston Children’s Museum’s Centennial. The Choir boasts several Bedford members including Matt Bridgeman, Chloe DeMello, Michaela Francesconi, Eleanor Krusemark and Nick Marino. The performance included the world premiere of  “I Am a River of Hope”  by composer Jim Papoulis, a song commissioned for the museum’s 100th anniversary.

Bedford resident Carole Charnow, the museum’s Chief Executive Officer, kicked off the museum’s anniversary year when she threw out the first pitch at a Boston Red Sox game. (bedfordcitizen.wpengine.com/2013/08/09/bedfords-charnow-celebrates-boston-childrens-museums-100th-year/)

The museum’s celebration continues today and tomorrow, October 5 and 6. For additional information about special anniversary activities, visit www.bostonchildrensmuseum.org/100-year-birthday-celebration.
