Planning Board Request for Full-time Planner Approved by Finance Committee

The Bedford Finance Committee voted on February 13 to recommend an increase to full-time for the Assistant Planner in FY2015.

The Planning Board had requested 16 additional hours to provide for the implementation of major initiatives in the comprehensive plan and for review of current zoning by-laws. The request added $11,503 above the Finance Committee guideline issued in December. The recommended budget must be approved at Town Meeting in March.
