Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of ALL ages…..
The 2014 BEST/PTO Carnival & Circus sponsored by The Higgins Group Realtors will take place at Bedford High School on Saturday, March 22. The CARNIVAL runs from 11 am until 4 pm and features face painting, police car rides, and 15 games including the famous Principal Pie Shop where you can throw a pie at your favorite principal, teacher, firefighter or police officer. The CIRCUS performances will take place at 10:30 am, 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm.
Beyond its fun and games, the Carnival will sell traditional carnival food generously donated by Flatbread, Bedford Farms, Kayem and the 99 Restaurant. The Carnival’s raffle will be returning again this year with items donated by many local businesses!
For the 5th consecutive year, Cirque du Jour returns with former Ringling Bros. star Bucky! This year Bucky will be joined by Acrobat Li Liu, the Amazing Sladek and his Tower of Chairs and other fascinating performers. Children of all ages will enjoy this 45-minute show that will have them sitting on the edge of their seats. Kids and adults will be doubling over with laughter as Bucky combines comedy magic with good old-fashioned slapstick comedy!
Tickets for the circus are $8 for adults and children; children 1 and under do not require a circus ticket. Online ticket sales have closed, so get to the high school early to buy your tickets at the door the day of the event. Carnival tickets can be bought the day of the event and used towards food, games and face painting. Carnival game tickets are available in a sheet of 24 for $6 or 2 sheets for $10.
