Matty Foundation Gala Raises Funds for Families Impacted by Childhood Cancer

Friends For Matty Foundation, Inc.’s annual fundraiser will be held this year on September 6, 2014 at the Doubletree Suites in Bedford, MA. This year we are holding a Gold Ribbon Gala in honor of Childhood Cancer Month. We are excited to have Ethan Zohn the winner of the 2002 Survivor TV and two-time cancer survivor, as our special guest speaker. There will be live music, appetizers, a cash bar, a silent auction, raffle items, and many surprises!

Friends For Matty Foundation, Inc. is a registered 501c3 organization that was established in 2009 in memory of Matthew Langone, a brave and courageous 5 year old, who lost his life to neuroblastoma (a rare form of childhood cancer).

The mission of the foundation is to provide financial assistance to families in the Bedford area with children who are battling cancer. In addition, some of our proceeds will be donated to local hospitals to enhance family resources and support research for neuroblastoma and other childhood cancers. All of the funds raised from this event will be used to support the Friends For Matty Foundation’s work in our local community.
