Economic-Development600The Town of Bedford has just launched a new Economic Development website (www.bedfordma.gov/economic-development) on Bedford’s main website.

Alyssa Sandoval, Bedford’s Economic Development Coordinator, showcased the new website at the Bedford Selectmen’s meeting on Monday night, August 25, 2014. The website provides a customized suite of tools and resources for the business community, and also helps to send the message that the Town is open to business and ready to work collaboratively with the business community to support business retention, expansion, and job creation. The website provides a number of resources developed specifically for current and prospective businesses including:

  • A regularly updated list of available commercial, industrial, and retail properties for lease/sale,
  • Maps with key companies to highlight Bedford’s industry clusters in the Crosby Drive and Wiggins Avenue/DeAngelo Drive Business Districts,
  • Business resources, such as state and federal grants and tax incentives that are available to new and expanding businesses,
  • Relevant business permits and licenses checklist, and
  • News updates on business activity in Bedford

In addition to the website, Ms. Sandoval will be launching a Twitter campaign to keep the Bedford business community informed about business news, events, and resources.
