The Bedford Citizen reported on September 12 that the School Committee discussed a policy change in the use of a breathalyzer at school dances at their September 9 meeting. We are grateful to Bedford High School Principal Dr. Henry Turner for sharing the draft policy with the community. Click this link to read the AlcoBlow Policy and Procedure Proposed 9-17-14. As with all changes to school policy, a vote on the breathalyzer policy will come at a subsequent meeting. The School Committee’s next scheduled meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 23.
