From noon to 3 pm on Sunday, September 28, Cub Scout Pack 194 will hold “September Sky,” a rocket launch event at the John Glenn Middle School field. Intended for boys in grades 1 through4, the event will give both prospective and current Scouts an opportunity to both build and launch a model rocket.
The fee will be approximately $11 and includes the basic kit and a pair of engines for two launches.
This not-to-be-missed afternoon is a great opportunity for families to learn more about Scouting and have a lot of fun. A complementary cook-out (hot dogs and hamburgers) is planned at the same time
