St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will offer a special Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis’ Day at noon on Sunday, October 5.

All God’s creatures (two-legged, four-legged, finned and feathered, stuffed or photographed!) are welcome to attend for a brief prayer service in the church’s Memorial Garden, at 100 Pine Hill Road, followed by individual blessings for any pet who would like them.

Prayers will also be offered for the animals we have known and loved who are no longer with us. Everyone in the community is welcome.

The service should last about 15 minutes, and blessings will be available for as long as needed afterwards.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is located at 100 Pine Hill Road in Bedford. For additional information visit www.stpaulsbedford.org/
