Does your girl have what it takes to change the world? Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (GSEM) and Raytheon are teaming up to arm our future female innovators with science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) experiences and the exciting, empowering, world-changing opportunities that sparking interest in these fields can bring.

Middlesex Community College will host MathMovesU on Sunday, November 2 from 9:30 AM to 4 PM – Click to print the MathMovesU flyer and then click https://ow.ly/DxfR1  to register. From exploring rocket propulsion to solving puzzles and experimenting with new ideas, the program’s hands-on opportunities aim to inspire fourth through eighth graders who might otherwise abandon interest in historically male-dominated subject matter. Girls not only experience the power of STEM first-hand, but are introduced to women role models working in the STEM fields, including Raytheon engineers, who volunteer their time to connect future female leaders with the content that has propelled their careers.

Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts serves nearly 37,000 girls grades K-12 and engages more than 15,000 adult volunteers in 178 communities across eastern Massachusetts with the mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.
