Everyone in Bedford is invited to the annual Inter-faith Thanksgiving service at 3 pm on Sunday, November 23 in the First Church of Christ, Congregational, 25 The Great Road.

The Bedford Minuteman Company will fulfill their traditional role, greeting attendees and posting the colors to start the service.

Sponsored by the Bedford Clergy Association the service will include music from four Bedford choirs, plus the band from Temple Emeth Shalom. Members of the Bedford clergy will offer reflections on the theme of thanksgiving and gratitude from their particular faith tradition.

“After dealing with issues of anti-semitism for the past year, it is even more important that all faith traditions gather in solidarity for this service,” said Rev. John Castricum, pastor at First Church.  “This year’s service will have a special emphasis on celebrating the religious and cultural diversity we have in Bedford.”

A reception will be held after the service, providing time to socialize and greet fellow Bedfordites.

First Church, Congregational is located at 25 Great Road. Suggested parking is in the town lot along Mudge Way, where a path near the statue Dance Rhythm by sculptor Chaim Gross leads to the front of the church.
