More than 100 Bedford High School students participated in the Citizens Scholarship Foundation’s Dollars for Scholars Phone-a-thon, calling as many homes as possible during the weekend to raise monies to fund the 2015 scholarships that will be awarded to BHS seniors later this year. In addition to the calls, letters went out to all residences, for total town coverage.

This is the the 50th anniversary of Citizens Scholarship Foundation Dollars for Scholars in Bedford, and this year’s fundraising goal is $50,000. Whether you pledged during an in-person call or received one of the program’s direct solicitation letters, its’ time to get your check in the mail.

“The response to the CSF campaign is enormously gratifying because it’s a reflection of the value that every segment of the community places on education,” said Mike Rosenberg.

“As the scholarship ceremony distributor for the past 27 years, I can’t think of anything that better represents Bedford’s character and class.”
