A new restaurant is coming to town: Dalya’s has become Holi, a bright room with white woodwork, soft yellow walls, a bright orange fireplace surround, new light fixtures, and Indian dining.
Proprietor Amarjit Singh expects that Holi’s ‘soft opening’ will take place before the end of March, once all of the final inspections are complete.
Singh and his partners also own the well-regarded Zaika Indian Bistro in Woburn. He noted that his regular customers are eager to rent Holi’s function space for private parties, as well as coming to Bedford to for meals in the dining room.
Holi is located at 20 North Road, next to Bedford Farms.
What does ‘Holi’ mean?
According to Wikipedia Holi is a spring festival, also known as the festival of colours or the festival of love. It is an ancient Hindu religious festival which has become popular with non-Hindus in many parts of South Asia, as well as people of other communities outside Asia.
Looking forward to it!
