The Rotary Club of Bedford has embraced Pay It Forward, a global movement based on the idea that if each of us looked for ways to help others, the world would be a better place. Bedford residents are invited to be a part of it an amazing tradition on April 25, that was brought to Bedford for the first time in 2013.
In collaboration with End Hunger Now, Bedford packed 120,000 meals for Haiti in 2014. Click here to read about the event in The Bedford Citizen.
Bedford Pay it Forward 2015 will conclude on Saturday, April 25, 2015 with an event at Middlesex Community College where we will package as many meals (at $0.29/meal) as possible with the money raised.
In addition to support from donors large and small, this year’s campaign was funded in part by a pair of food-related fundraisers – at Flatbread on St. Patrick’s Day, and at Ken’s Deli a few weeks ago.
