Every two years the Bedford Free Public Library’s Arts Steering Committee mounts a juried exhibition of original work by residents or individuals who work in town. “The current show drew an remarkable collection of entries.” said Jean Hammond, a member of the committee.

Curating the 25-piece show from among 80+ entries fell to Gretchen Keyworth, Director Emerita of Brockton’s Fuller Craft Museum.

In addition to her accomplishments at the Fuller Craft Museum, Keyworth promoted the arts for the City of Boston’s Office of Cultural Affairs and, for several years directed Crafts at the Castle, an annual juried fine crafts show to benefit Family Services of Greater Boston. She is a ceramicist with a BFA from Clark University in Worcester.

The work of 18 artists, some of whom have two pieces in the show, is on display through Wednesday,  January 13, 2016:
