By all accounts, Saturday night’s Bedford Education Foundation Winter Bash is going to be a great party. From 7 to 11 pm, the Courtyard Marriott at 270 Concord Road in Billerica returns to the 1980s to raise funds for grants that support creativity and innovation in Bedford’s schools.
The Back to the 80’s BEF Bash isn’t your average, run-of-the-mill fundraiser. Yes, there will be appetizers, a silent auction and raffle prizes, but there will be more, much more.
How long has it been since you’ve been at a party with so many fun features? A photo booth; dancing to 80s hits spun by a terrific DJ; trivia games to test your memory; Atari games to test your dexterity; costume prizes for the best individuals (male and female) the best duo and the best group; and a Flashback Wall with photographs of you and your friends in the 80s?
Tickets are available online through the Bedford Recreation Department at $40 each until Wednesday, January 27. Tickets will be $50 at the door, so click https://apm.activecommunities.com/…/bef-back-to-the-80…/9072 today to get the reduced price.
The bar is cash ONLY, but checks, and credit cards will be accepted for auction & raffle items.
Directions to the Courtyard Marriott: Take Bedford’s North Road heading towards Billerica. At the first stoplight, take a right. The Courtyard is the second building on your right. Parking is available in front and back of the building. If you pass Route 3, you’ve gone too far!
