The Bedford Center for the Arts Photo Group will host a day-‐long workshop “Understanding Exposure and Learning to See Creatively” led by noted photographer, author, and educator, Bryan Peterson. The workshop will be held at Bedford High School, Saturday, May 7th, from 9AM to 4PM.

Peterson is a successful commercial photographer and has received numerous awards including the Communication Arts Photography Annual, Print Magazine, and the prestigious New York Art Directors Gold Award. He has served as a contributing editor at Popular Photography and Outdoor Photographer magazines and is the co-‐founder of the Perfect Picture School of Photography.
Within the photographic community, he is best known as the photographer/writer of eight best selling books, including Learning to See Creatively, Beyond Portraiture, Understanding Close-‐up Photography, and Bryan F. Peterson’s Field Guide to Understanding Composition, and his latest book, Exposure Solutions. He is also the photographer for the “You Keep Shooting” videos that are seen on on the web via AdoramaTV. Peterson offers photography workshops all over the world.
For this workshop, Peterson will expand participants’ technical skills and artistic vision. His in-‐depth presentation includes the following topics: Creative Exposure and Creative Flash; the Art of Seeing and Elements of Design and Composition; and, Macrophotography.
