Bedford TV is proud to name Penpa Tsering Volunteer of the Month for May, 2016. Penpa has long been one of Bedford TV’s most prolific volunteers and this month was no exception. He utilized his talents in videography, editing, and music to create a variety of programming for BTV.
For instance, in early May Penpa filmed Bedford’s Multicultural Festival, sponsored by Bedford Embraces Diversity. He also edited this program and plans to participate next year. A link to this program is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxH9JlCdFjg
Additionally, Penpa produced three new episodes of his program Nature Sounds, which features scenes of nature from the Bedford area accompanied by traditional Tibetan music that is recorded in the Bedford TV studio. Penpa has a knack for finding even the most well hidden animals and getting close enough to them to get a great shot. Pen has an incredible eye for video and ear for music, and those dual talents allow him to create unique and interesting content for Bedford TV. He is one of our hardest working volunteers, and he continues to improve his craft with each video he makes. It was with great pleasure that we presented him with a gift card from Bedford TV Community Partner Red Heat Tavern to recognize his exceptional service to the station.
