This is a personal story, though I usually write about town government for The Citizen.
I arrived at Bedford Day around 9:50, later than usual, with my walker tucked in the back of my car. Knowing that parking spaces are in high demand on Bedford Day, my Plan-B was to go home if I couldn’t park.
To my delight multiple handicap spaces were open behind the high school and near the library.
My fellow citizens’ courtesy (and adherence to the rules) made the day for me. My positive views of our town were reinforced.
I am grateful and proud.
