Chief Robert Bongiorno and Jacquelin Apsler of the Domestic Violence Prevention Network helped Jane Doe, Inc. to celebrate the organization’s recent Violence Against Women award at a State House ceremony in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness month.

DVSN works in Bedford and in surrounding communities to end domestic violence by empowering and educating all peoples in ways that respect their dignity and choices while promoting their safety. Jane Doe, Inc. is a coalition of 60 local member programs working together with our allies, including DVSN, to find lasting solutions that promote the safety, liberty, and dignity for victims and survivors of sexual and domestic violence. JDI works for social change to help create a world free of violence and abuse.
