METCO and Bedford have collaborated for more than 30 years (click here to read Eliza Rosenberry’s recent story about METCO in Bedford), so we trust that this fundraiser for an organization important both to Bedford and Greater Boston is an event you would want to know about.
Since 1966 METCO has worked for Massachusetts’ children by raising college attendance rates, integrating classrooms and crafting productive,high-achieving citizens and taxpayers of this Commonwealth. According to 2015 statistics compiled by DESE, 98% of METCO students graduate high school in 4 years, compared to 86% of all students in the state.
