Although the December 5 meeting was brief, some business was transacted. The Selectmen joined the Planning Board on Tuesday, December 6 to learn about the Great Road survey and hear the planner’s report.
- Chairman Mike Rosenberg announced he would seek reelection. He was first elected Selectman in March of 2008.
- The Selectmen agreed that in 2017, Bedford Day will be held on September 23, the fourth Saturday of the month. This is Bedford’s actual founding day in 1729.
- Selectman Margot Fleischman announced that the Energy Task Force will meet with representatives from National Grid to discuss gas leaks in Bedford at their next meeting on December 14.
