Bedford High School’s Indoor track team was well represented at the Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association (MSTCA) annual indoor Division 4 relays held at Roxbury Community College’s Reggie Lewis Center on Sunday, January 15.
The Bedford Boys 4×800 team — junior Liam Silver, freshman Andrew Presti, senior Brendan Goodhue, and sophomore Jasper Shapiro — got the day started by winning their heat with a time of 9:05.97. The race was a nail-biter right down to the finish, with the Tewksbury team hot on Bedford’s heels.

The invitational meet is open only to teams with qualifying times this season. Although the races don’t count in the division standing, the meet is a great way for teams to see how they compare with other Division 4 teams from all over Massachusetts.
Other Bedford relay scores:

- Girls 4×200 Meter Relay – Bedford 2:00.39

- Boys 4×200 Meter Relay – Bedford 1:39.62
- Boys 4×400 Meter Relay – Bedford 3:47.17
