A Public Presentation to Share the North Road Intersection Study on Tuesday, January 17

Submitted by the Department of Public Works

As part of the North Road at Chelmsford Road and North Road at Pine Hill Road intersection study, the Town’s traffic consultant, Green International Affiliates, Inc. has prepared a report based on field survey, traffic volumes, crash data, the public input meeting and local concerns.

They have developed three conceptual designs per location, which address pedestrian and bicycle accommodations.  The report identifies conceptual layouts for both sites to either remain under stop sign control or to signalize the intersections.

The project team from Green International will present their findings and recommendations to the Bedford Selectmen on Tuesday, January 17th at 8:30 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room at Town Hall, 10 Mudge Way.
