Topics of Interest at Bedford Board and Committee Meetings – Week of March 6, 2017

By Meredith McCulloch

Although few agendas were posted as of late Friday afternoon, multiple town board and committee meetings are scheduled, along with Bedford’s annual election on Saturday, March 11.

The Historic Preservation Commission will continue demolition delay hearings for 158 Concord Road and 186 Concord Road. They will also review a proposed letter to owners of“1stPeriod” houses regarding a Permanent Preservation Restriction.

The week culminates with the annual Town Elections of officers for all registered voters at John Glenn Middle School, 8am-6pm. Click on The Bedford Citizen’s Candidates Basics to learn more about the candidates and the contests.

Other committees posted to meet are the Board of Assessors, Housing Authority, Transportation Advisory Committee, and the Finance Committee.

Correction: Although the Town Calendar lists a Monday meeting for the Selectmen, The Citizen has learned that they will not meet on March 6.
