Town Government at Work in Bedford Board and Committee Meetings – Week of April 24, 2017

After a short hiatus over school vacation week, many town boards and committees are meeting back at work.

On Monday, April 24 the Selectmen will review the charter for a potential ad hoc Dog Park Committee. They will also review an RFP for PEG access (public, educational, or government) for local cable. The Energy Task Force will present information about a proposed NetZero policy for carbon emissions. Earlier that day, at 9:30 am, the Volunteer Coordinating Committee will meet to review volunteer needs of Town boards and committees.

The Planning Board is dedicating their April 25 meeting to work on the Great Road Business Zoning project.

The School Committee will also meet on April 25in the large instruction room at the high school. They will hear presentations on the upcoming History Fair and from the Religious and Cultural History Task Force.

On Wednesday, April 26 the Conservation Commission will hold hearings starting at 7 pm on three requests to determine the applicability of the Wetland Protections Act to certain properties.

The Finance Committee will also meet on Thursday, April 27.
