Bedford TV was proud to award Christoph Kershaw Volunteer of the Month for May of 2017. Christoph is a student at John Glenn Middle School and volunteers at Bedford TV in a number of roles, both as a producer and as a mentor for younger students.
Christoph first started making videos for Bedford TV through the middle school video production classes offered at the station through Bedford Youth and Family Services. He has since continued to make creative new content for BTV through the middle school drop-in club.
However, Christoph’s contributions go above and beyond making programming for the station. During Bedford TV’s latest class for Lane School students, Christoph served as one of the mentors for younger students. He worked to help teach these students the basics of how to plan, film, and edit their productions.
Christoph’s creativity, enthusiasm, and humor make him a pleasure to work with. He has continued to learn more and more about video production as well as how to teach younger students. It was with great pleasure that we presented Christoph with a gift card from Bedford TV Community Partner Red Heat Tavern to recognize his exceptional service to the station.
