Please join the Bedford Trails Committee for a free Trail Walk in the woods.
- If dry, we plan to explore underused trails thru Massport land to Henry Thoreau’s birthplace (a bit late for his bicentennial)
- If too wet, we’ll walk trails around Old Reservoir.Duration 1.5-2 hours; pace will be leisurely
When and Where
We meet at 9:45AMat the parking lot behind the Bedford Free Public Library, and leave 10:10 am sharp from MassPort (gravel parking lot at 398 Concord Road—where Rt. 62 crosses the Reformatory Trail). For Old Res, please park in the back of the Shawsheen Cemetery near the Yellow-blazed trail post.
Please check the BedfordMA-Trails website https://groups.google.com/group/bedfordma-trails after 5 pm on Friday, August 4 for final walk location, and info on current and future hikes.
