Town Government at Work for the Week of August 21, 2017

The Selectmen will meet at 6:30 on Monday, August 21 for an update on the runway repair project at Hanscom Field. Their regular meeting will begin at 7:30 in the Selectmen’s Room to consider a full agenda, including:

  • Hear a report on the local transportation pilot project DASH.
  • Hear from POAH (Preservation of Affordable Housing) about options for the rehabilitation of Bedford Village, while maintaining different levels of affordability.  POAH will also present options for financing including up to $3m of Community Preservation Act funds.
  • Consider two options for a response to the owner of 13 School Avenue who requested access to his property from Mudge Way.
  • Review public comment on draft documents between the town and Good Energy for aggregated electricity purchase.
  • Review a proposal to spend $20,00 of Community Preservation funds for a strategic study of affordable housing.

Other meetings this week are the ad hoc Dog Park committee on Tuesday, August 22 at 7:30 and on Thursday, August 24 both the Energy Task Force.  Also on August 24, the Zoning Board of Appeals will continue hearings on several requests.
