The White Cedar Swamp Boardwalk is a candidate project to construct an accessible and safe bicycle and pedestrian boardwalk along a dangerous stretch of the Davis Road.   The Bedford Department of Public Works (DPW) has developed a design and received the required permitting to construct the boardwalk; however, the timeline for funding (FY23) needs to be moved forward to FY19 so the work can take place before permits expire.  This project needs resident support to ensure that it moves forward.

The Transportation Advisory Committee and DPW will hold an information session on November 28th at 7:30pm in the Town Hall Multipurpose Room to present the design and be available to answer any questions you have on the project.

If you feel that this is a project you’d benefit from, please email [email protected] and share your thoughts with us before November 30th so we can include your input to our report to the Capital Expenditures Committee, who will be voting on the project funding timeline at their upcoming December meeting.
