The adult and youth choirs at First Parish Unitarian Universalist on Bedford Common, along with the congregation’s ministers, parishioners, and youth brought the essence of the church to Bedford’s Edith Nourse Rogers VA Hospital for a holiday program and social time last week.

There were carols, inspirational readings, and a puppet’s recitation of A Visit from St. Nicholas, along with individual conversations while parishioners visited with the Vets or escorted them to and from their rooms.

Linda Pollitz and First Parish maestro Brad Connor have organized this holiday event and another to mark the start of the baseball season for more than 10 years.
