The first quarter was the height of empty baskets as neither team could hit from any distance and ended with the Bucs up 5-4.

Sophomore Danielle Arnold sparked some life in the offense, however, CCHS led at halftime 15-14.  Concord-Carlisle has a much taller team and used it to their advantage.

The second half was marked with Bedford moving to an up-tempo offense and a lot of speed off the bench.  Most notable contributors were senior Melanie Proulx and sophomore Abby Monahan.

The keys to the victory were Annie Cowen’s and Cate Marcus’s half-dozen free throws.

Bucs next game is December 19th at Cambridge Rindge and Latin.
