Town Government at Work for the Week of January 8, 2018

Work by boards and committee is back in full swing this week with many meetings on the calendar.

Tuesday’s Town Caucus Leads a List of Board & Committee Meetings This Week: Of primary importance is the Town Caucus on Tuesday January 9. At the Caucus voters nominate candidates for Town offices to be elected on March 10, 2018.  All voters are urged to attend the caucus in the multi-purpose room at Town Hall at 7:00pm. Residents who wish to be nominated, but cannot attend the Caucus, may obtain papers from the Town Clerk until January 19 and then collect signatures of nomination. Monday, January 8

  • Fiscal Planning & Coordinating Committee, 6:30 pm
  • Library Trustees, 7:00 pm, Library Meeting Room will review and approve their FY19 budget
  • Board of Health, 7:00 pm in the Flint Room at Town Center
  • Selectmen’s Meeting at 7:300 includes a review of utility pole relocation and the Bedford Cable Television budget for FY19

 Wednesday, January 10

  • Recreation Commission will discuss Springs Brook Park and hear updates for on-going programs
  • Conservation Commission 7:00pm

Thursday, January 11, 2018

  • Youth & Family Services Committee 7:00 pm, Mudge Room at Town Center
  • Finance Committee 7:30 at Town Hall will hear the proposed FY19Planning Board budget and review the 2019 capital budget model.
