Bedford Town Government at Work the Week of February 26, 2018

Bedford’s boards and committees continue to prepare for Annual Town Meeting and look ahead to the future.

On Monday night, February 26, 2018, the Selectmen will hear a proposed modification to the “Existing Declaration of Restrictions Carleton-Willard Homes Inc.” They will also review and approve a policy on civil discourse. The Selectmen will vote whether to approve a request of Massachusetts Department of Revenue for Technical Assistance with tax assessment. They will discuss whether Finance Committee meetings should be recorded for broadcast on local cable.

The Planning Board meets on Tuesday, February 27, to will review a plan for 39 Crosby Drive.  They will also hold a hearing on a special permit that would allow redevelopment of 36 North Road. The plan includes a bakery and café plus a residential unit. Also on Tuesday the Energy Task Force will meet at 7:30 in Town Hall and the Soccer Committee fill meet at 7:30 in Town Center

Conservation Commission will meet at 7:00 pm on February 28, 2018, and, wrapping up the week, the Finance Committee will meet Thursday, March 1, 2018.
