Please join the Bedford Trails Committee for a free Trail Walk on Saturday, March 3. We will explore the Wilson Mill Park and connecting trails in the Burlington Landlocked Forest and Bedford’s Old Rez Conservation Area. The walk will be about 5 miles and last approximately 3 hours.

We meet at 9:45 AM at the parking lot behind the Bedford Free Public Library.  Alternatively, you can meet us at Wilson Mill Park (see https://goo.gl/maps/hfcDqXdQnjk or map below), where we will leave at 10:10 am sharp.

Mark Levine of the Bedford Trails Committee will lead this month’s Trail Walk.

Our hike is at a comfortable pace, with relatively hilly terrain. From Wilson Mill Park we head south in woodland just west of Rt. 3 to wander the Burlington Landlocked Forest. From there we cross Grove St., Lexington to access Old Rez trails. Eventually, we cross Page Rd., Bedford to enter the Landlocked Forest again and return to Wilson Mill. Please wear comfortable, closed toe, walking shoes that can handle wet or snow.  Older children are welcome. Rain cancels but, if snow, snowshoes may be advised.  In any case, it may be wet and slippery, or snowy or icy, so be prepared for these conditions.
