Although spring is still about 6 weeks away, the DPW Grounds Division has scheduled their annual cleanup at the Shawsheen Cemetery.

According to the Grounds Manager, Dennis Freeman, they plan to have the Cemetery raked, trimmed and swept for the upcoming holidays.  As such, residents who want to retain their items of sentiment, such as baskets, floral designs, wreaths and decorations from the Cemetery should remove these items prior to March 1, 2018.  The crew will dispose of any items not removed by this date.

If you have any questions or have special circumstances, please contact the Department of Public Works at (781)275-7605.
