The warrant for Annual Town Meeting has been finalized, and you can read about it in The Bedford Citizen’s article. Printed copies will also be mailed to resident’s homes. The warrant is the agenda for the Annual Town Meeting where many important decisions are made. All registered voters are invited to attend and make their wishes known on town issues and appropriations. Town Meeting begins on Monday, March 26 at 7:30 in the high school auditorium.
Next Week’s Meetings
The Board of Health is meeting Monday night, March 5 at 7:00 pm. They will be reviewing draft regulations on smoking in workplaces and other public places.
On Tuesday, March 6 the Historic Preservation Commission will hear a new application for a demolition delay of a property at 15 Fitchdale Avenue.
On Wednesday, March 7 the Historic District Commission will hold a hearing at 7:30 pm to consdier demolishing and replacing a building at 18 North Road. Also on March 7, the Community Garden Task Force will continue preparation of its upcoming survey. They will also hear a report of soil samples from potential sites.
On Thursday, March 8 at 7:00 pm the Youth and Family Services board will meet in the Mudge Conference Room at Town Center. They will hear updates on current programs and grants. The Zoning Board of Appeals and Finance Committee will both meet Thursday evening at Town Hall.
