With snow in the forecast late Monday and into Tuesday, Bedford’s DPW is making its usual preparations to treat and clear the roads. One thing residents can do to help is to take in any trash carts and recycling bins that are still at the curb.

With more than a foot of snow in the forecast, Bedford’s plow drivers will have enough to do without dodging bins and carts. Keeping the curb clear of objects like trash carts helps the DPW work more efficiently.

It also avoids the expense and hassle of  replacing a trash cart or recycle bin.
