Joan-Marie Freni, Bedford’s former Election Warden, was honored on Wednesday evening, at a Town Hall party for election workers.

Ms. Freni retired at the beginning of 2018—after having served as the Election Warden for 15 years. Prior to that, she had also served some years, moving through the ranks of election workers.

Doreen Tremblay, Town Clerk, was the host and presented a Certificate of Appreciation for Ms. Fren’s dedicated service.

At least 20 of Bedford’s current election workers attended the party, and all were treated to sandwiches, cake, and beverages.

Current Election Warden  Michele Ferland created the invitations (which looked like a ballot) and the decorations. Michele is off to a good start as Warden!
