Getting to the Moon: American Space Exploration 1945-1969.
Professor Dan Breen will present a lecture series on American space exploration. The five session series will chronicle the beginnings of space exploration after World War II through the landing on the moon in 1969. The lectures will be at 2 pm each Sunday (January 21st, 28th, February 4th, 11th and 25th).

Dr. Daniel Breen is a professor of Legal Studies at Brandeis University. In the past twelve years, Dan has lectured at the Library about World War I, World War II, the Great Depression, the American Revolution, Prohibition, Supreme Court cases, the Civil War, the Roosevelts and presidential campaigns. Dr. Breen has both a JD from the University of Georgia and a PhD in History from Boston College.
