There are a lot of wonderful gardens in Bedford, and two of the best are at Davis and Lane elementary schools. Maintained by volunteers, organic gardener and parent Meighan Matthews (Davis) and 3rd grade teacher Beth DiIorio with teaching assistant Cheryl Johnston (Lane), the gardens have instructed and delighted students, and have also also provided vegetables for Bedford’s Food Pantry.
