Attorney Lee Gartenberg will speak at First Parish on Thursday, March 21

At 7 pm on Thursday, March 21, the Middlesex County Prison Coordinating Committee (MCPCC) continues its annual tradition of a visit from Lee Gartenberg, Attorney for Inmates at the Billerica House of Corrections and the Cambridge Jail.  Lee is an active member of several Mass. Bar Association committees and says this will be his 31st annual visit. The meeting will take place at First Parish on the Common, 75 The Great Road in Bedford.

This “annual meeting on policy,” which has been an enjoyable and stimulating highlight for MCPCC, can now benefit more people concerned with prisons and associated criminal justice policies.  Last year it took place with the Peace and Justice Committee of the First Parish (UU) of Bedford, and that is the plan again.  Now that MCPCC has aligned with Concord Prison Outreach, its members are also being notified and can further expand participation in this meeting.

It is our hope that special publicity to long time MCPCC supporters will encourage more to attend and learn about changes taking place and changes needed in Massachusetts laws and policies.
