Bedford Mourns Passing of Citizen Volunteers, Employees at Town Meeting

As is tradition at the beginning of Annual Town Meeting, a resolution was read to express sorrow at the passing of citizen volunteers and Town employees.  This year, Selectmen Chair Bill Moonan began the proceedings by publicly thanking sixteen people for years of service during their lifetimes:

Whereas, since the Annual Town Meeting of 2012, employees, officers and committee members of the Town have passed away, having performed their duties faithfully, dedicating their time and skills to benefit the residents of Bedford, and

Whereas we gratefully recognize their public service to Bedford citizens,

Now therefore be it resolved that we, the people of Bedford, assembled here in Annual Town Meeting on April 1, 2013, mourn their passing and extend sincere sympathy to the families of:
