Bedford Pride Ride to Benefit The One Fund on Sunday, June 2

Compiled by The Bedford Citizen

One Fund logoJoin summit health + fitness, Pedal & Pose, Moving Forward Physical Therapy and Viking Moving Services on Sunday, June 2nd from 9 am to noon, to raise money for One Fund Boston.

There will be three one-hour Pride Rides, with 54 spinning bikes available per hour. Each hour requires a donation of any dollar amount.

Philip Racicot of summit health + fitness said, “Everyone is welcome to stop by and participate or not as they choose. We are opening up the gym to the community and hope that folks open their wallets to help this very important cause. 100% of all funds raised will go to the One Boston Fund.”

In response to suggestions, no minimum donation will be required. Summit Health and Fitness is now encouraging donors willing to contribute any dollar amount to reserve a bike. Simply click here to register your name to reserve a bike online to secure a seat; bring your donation check to the door.  The gym will be open to everyone, not just members of summit health + fitness.

There will be three one-hour Pride Rides, free food provided by Whiskey’s Steakhouse, a raffle, tap dancing, Zumba, chair massages and much more!

Local businesses have offered us fantastic prizes to raffle: Pyara Aveda, Absolute Tranquility, Nine Zero Hotel, Bedford Acupuncture, Bikeway Source and many more!

Whiskey’s Smokehouse was closed due to the tragedy during the Boston Marathon because of their location on Boylston Street. They will provide all sorts of free food for the event to all who stop by. Thank you, Whiskey’s!

How can I donate or participate?

  • You can register for one or more of our Pride Rides
  • Purchase raffle tickets!

  • Donations by check made payable to the One Fund Boston will be collected at the door. Credit card donations must be done through the One Fund web site.

100% of the donations will be sent to the One Fund Boston.
