The Bedford High School girls’ varsity basketball team is having an amazing season. As of January 14th, they have an undefeated record of 10-0 and have the best record in the Dual County League Small.
The strong team is led by Matthew Ryan, who currently coaches his third year as a Buccaneer, and the two senior captains, Samantha Cowen (#14) and Alaina Greaney (#42). Cowen has consistently helped the team with her shot from the outside and Greaney is a force to be reckoned with in the paint.
The whole team has their sights set on making it far in the MIAA tournament which starts at the end of the regular season and the Bedford community can definitely expect great things from them.
