Lady Bucs Post Senior Night Win Against Weston

The Bedford Lady Bucs’ Girls Varsity Basketball Team, sailed to a 46-17 win over Weston on Friday night improving to a record of 15 -2.

It was fitting that Seniors Sam Cowan (18 Points) and Briana Champion (5 Points) led the team on Senior Night. The team’s other two Seniors played exceptionally well with Alaina Greaney pulling down several key rebounds and Vicky Barry dishing out many assists.

Bedford pulled away in the second half by hitting three consecutive 3-pointers, outscoring Weston by a margin of 22 to 7. It was a real “team effort” on offense with 9 players scoring at least one basket.

The Lady Bucs’ trapping defense lead by Kristen Bullock and Amanda Cohen created several turnovers that helped to clinch the win.
