The first stage of a three-phase long-range master plan is poised to begin at Bedford Business Park on Crosby Drive. The Planning Board was briefed on development updates at its meeting on May 27.
The project includes architectural entry-façade work, a new expanded lot area (made available by iRobot), and parking reconfiguration and/or expansion pending, in part, on acquisition of property that has been used for storage by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. In a telephone interview Planning Director Glenn Garber enthusiastically characterized the project as “the kind of private capital investment in enlivening and beautifying properties” called for in the town’s 2013 Comprehensive Plan, The Bedford We want.
